Review: Sinful Colors Boldacious Collection, Part 1

Purchased by Me

Hey Y'all!!  As you may know, I'm having a giveaway!!  And since I love bright colors, y'all know I bought myself a set.  So don't worry...this is my set, not the one I'm giving away.  So today I have the first half of the Sinful Colors Boldacious Collection!

Energetic Red

Energetic Red is a bright red that leans strongly to orange, almost a neon red.  It is a heavily pigmented crème.  Pictures show two coats with top coat.
The formula for Energetic Red was great!  A little streaky for the first coat, but the second coat evened everything out perfectly.  It did take this color a little longer than normal to dry, so be careful and patient when using it.  I love this color!!

Jolt
Jolt is a bright, blue crème that is just about the most perfect blue in the world.  This is another heavily pigmented crème.  Pictures show two coats with top coat.
The formula on this was good.  It was streaky on the first coat, but the second coat evened everything out perfectly.  Such a beautiful blue!

Boom Boom
Boom Boom is a bright pink crème.  It's really bright, but not a neon.  Pictures show three coats with top coat.
This formula was a little thinner than the others and required three coats to get a completely opaque finish.  I really like this pink, for some reason it reminds me of jelly beans!

Beatnick
Beatnick is a heavily pigmented teal.  Although it looks like a crème, there is actually a very subtle teal shimmer that sadly didn't translate to the nail.  Pictures show two coats with top coat.
The formula was fantastic!  In fact, with careful application you could get away with one coat.  I absolutely loved this color!!  Even if the shimmer didn't show.

I'm loving this collection so far!  I love bright, bold colors and I'm thrilled to see something other than pastels for Spring...no offense to pastels.  Other than winning this collection in my GIVEAWAY (hint, hint), you can find Sinful Colors and the Boldacious collection at Rite-Aid and Walgreens for $1.99 each.

Be sure to look for the next half of the collection, hopefully tomorrow (my now-a-teen is having oral surgery so it may be late).  Until then, Happy Polishing!!
